Fall Entertainment

I’m back to share more of the Ford Fiesta Movement with you. This month Ford’s 100 “agents” are taking on the theme of ENTERTAINMENT. In September, I shared what adventure looked like to me and then I was inspired to take a little solo adventure in NYC.  And last month, I shared how I was inspired to give Riley, my vintage trailer, a little more style.

Entertainment by definition is the action of being provided enjoyment, it’s an event or performance and it’s also the action of receiving guests and providing them with food and drink. For me, entertainment is definitely all about having guests over for a meal. I get so much enjoyment out of planning, preparing and then having folks over. It’s a diversion from my everyday routine and it’s a sport or hobby to me.

When I was a kid, my mom hosted lots of big dinners and get togethers (well she still does), she cooked elaborate dishes and desserts. One of my jobs was to set the table, and I loved getting out my mom’s china, crystal and silver and setting it perfectly at everyones seat. It’s still one of my favorite parts of having guests, sometimes I even set the table the night before, once everyone has gone to bed. It’s a silly thing to love, but there’s just something so satisfying about a beautifully set table to welcome your guests with.

No. 1 Metallic Gold // Brown Linen // Gold Dot Burlap
No. 2 Black and White Tribal // Mint Green // Chalkboard
No. 3 Mercury Glass // White Pumpkins // Grey
I want your input, help me plan the next event I will host. I want to have friends over for a Fall (not necessarily Thanksgiving) meal before the rush of the Holidays. Help me pick a color and pattern combination. This next week, I’ll do some research and gathering and put one of these 3 looks together on my table. I’ll, of course, have some DIYs to make the table special and it will all be done on a budget.
Do you like No. 1 Classic Warm Tones, No. 2 Modern Mint, Black and White, No. 3 Clean and Colorless? And why?
And don’t forget to check out some of the fun youtube videos put together by Ford Fiesta’s agents. I enjoyed this silly photobooth video, you might it as well. It’s interesting to see what others see as entertainment, there’s a lot of verity in the videos this month.
This is a sponsored post and I was compensated for my participation. The opinions expressed are my own.

I like the idea of the clean and colorless look. It seems like a cleansing theme before the onslaught of commercialism at Christmas. Reminds me of the purity of the reason for the season! Julia

I like no 2 – Modern mint, black and white. I think it is clean, fun and the green adds that extra pop of freshness to the colour scheme. I also like it because it is unique…. Naomi.
